ok, this goes out to all those people who don't know what the hell sheik's gender (well more like is sheik is zelda or not) is. WELL I'LL TELL YOU!!!! so if you have heard about the LoZ manga then you need to find the LoZ: OoC manga because then you will see that sheik and zelda are two completely different people!!!! and i would keep blabbing on about why BUT i don't want to give anything away so i am ending this here for now and i MIGHT get back with more information if i feel like it and or want to, but i did all of this from sheer boredom and from scanning through that piece of manga at the boarders that is less than a mile away from my house, so ya that's all from now

...ignoring the fact that the manga is not canon (as the two people above have pointed out), I have read the manga, and Sheik and Zelda are not two different people. The manga is the same as the (canon) game, in this regard. That is, Sheik is still a disguise of Zelda.
(And as for the reference to Sheik's gender: it is not affected simply because he is essentially a form of Zelda. He is still the male disguise of Zelda.)
